About
Christian Medical Society is a non profit Christian organization founded in the city of La Ceiba in 1979 and now based in El Progreso, in the country of Honduras. Since its beginning has served in the areas areas of integrated health and education aimed to the poorest and the neediest in the country. The volunteers come from all over the United States, Canada, Honduras, Central and South America. The short term volunteers dedicate their time and efforts to those in need providing their own resources for the time they are in the country. We have other Non Profit Organizations locally and outside the country with which we have partnered in our efforts , such as MMI Canada, CCSHH, Awesome Adventure, Ruth Paz Foundation and some local churches plus the government offices of Education and Health

Our Mission
Our mission consist in providing Integrated Health and Education to the people of the country of Honduras, with a wholistic Christian approach.
